Posting and scheduling

Write a post once, shape it for each network, and put it on the calendar or in the queue.

01What it is

The Posts screen is where your own posts are written, scheduled and sent: a calendar by month or week, a queue that fills your weekly posting times, your drafts, what went out, and the accounts it goes through. The composer writes one post for every network you pick, each with its own version, counter, thread and first comment.

02Why it exists

Writing a post is the easy part. Putting the same thought on four networks, each with its own limit and habits, and remembering to send each at the right time, is the part that stops a founder posting at all.

So a post is written once and shaped per network, the limits are counted the way each network counts them, and the sending happens on its own. The assistant helps with your words rather than replacing them: it keeps your facts, adds none, and can be stopped mid-sentence.

03How to use it

  1. 01Press New post. Pick the networks it is for; each one gets its own tab starting from what you write.
  2. 02Write it, or open Write with AI and say what it is about. Suggest angles gives you several arguments to pick from first.
  3. 03Paste a link into Write with AI instead, and it reads the page and writes the post from it, with the link added after.
  4. 04Open a network tab to change that version only: shorten it for X, turn it into a thread, add a first comment for LinkedIn, or ask for hashtags to pick from.
  5. 05Press Three variations for three rewrites of what is there to pick from: a new first line, a different angle, a different shape. Templates you saved, or made on What worked, sit above your saved text, ready to insert and fill.
  6. 06On the Instagram or Facebook tab, switch Post as to Story to send one image or video as a story instead of a feed post.
  7. 07Under Images and video, Make an image in the style and quality you pick, with Made for your venture on to set it in your business's world, or press Change under a picture and say what to change.
  8. 08Read the checks on the right. A red one stops it going out; the rest is advice you can ignore.
  9. 09Press Add to queue for the next open posting time, pick a time and press Schedule, or Post now.
  10. 10Drag a post on the calendar to move it, and narrow it to one network with the filter above it. A post that needs you shows on the Queue tab with what to do.
  11. 11Switch the calendar to Grid to see your Instagram profile as it will look once what is scheduled goes out, and drag one scheduled post onto another to swap their times.
  12. 12Drag a draft from the tray beside the calendar onto a day to schedule it at that day’s first posting time, or onto an hour in the week view. Dropping it is the approval, as pressing Schedule is.
  13. 13Keep ideas in Drafts as one line each, and write them later with the assistant.
  14. 14Once enough posts have gone out, the Queue tab shows which of your own posting times did best, and adds one with a press.
  15. 15Bring in a month of posts from a spreadsheet with Import, under Drafts. Every row is checked before anything is saved.
  16. 16Add your blog feed under Drafts, and each new article arrives as a draft for the networks you picked, ready to read and schedule.

04What good looks like

You give it
A 412-character post, picked for LinkedIn and X.
You get
LinkedIn counts it inside its limit. The X tab shows it over the limit in red and refuses to schedule; Split into a thread breaks it at sentence boundaries into parts that each fit, and it schedules.
Why
Each network is counted the way it counts, X by its own weighted rules, and nothing is scheduled while any version breaks a platform limit.

05What weak looks like, and what it costs

You give it
A post scheduled for Instagram with no image.
You get
Refused before it is scheduled: Instagram needs an image or a video. It is not left to fail at its time.
Why
Media rules are checked with the limits, so a post that the network would reject never reaches the calendar.
