Part 3 · Operate
What this replaces
The kinds of tool the product covers, each with what it leaves out, and a place for a visitor to add up what they pay today.
01What it is
A list of tool categories, such as content writing and scheduling, cold email outreach or website analytics, each with one line on what the product does and one on what it does not. A visitor can type what they pay for each today; the total of their own numbers sits beside the plan they pick. It appears below the plan cards on the pricing page, as a short list on the home page, and on the comparison with doing it yourself.
02Why it exists
Comparing a price against a stack of tools is fair only with the visitor’s own figures. A default price for a category would be a number nobody can source, and the reader would be right to stop trusting the rest of the page. So nothing is filled in, and nothing typed leaves the page.
A category shows only when the feature behind it is live for everyone, and each one says what it leaves out, so the list cannot promise more than the product does. No other company is named in it.
03How to use it
- 01It waits behind the replaces_section flag, set for everyone because it shows on public pages.
- 02A category behind a flag (deals, website analytics, the AI team’s report) appears only once that flag is on for everyone.
- 03Analytics records how many fields a visitor filled, that a total was entered, the plan they picked and the call to action, never an amount.
No worked example here
No visitor has used it in production yet; the block waits behind its flag, so there is no real input and output to show.
