Part 3 · Operate

The content engine

Where ideas come from, how one becomes several posts, and what stops the bad ones.

01What it is

The pipeline that turns one idea into an artifact per channel, checks each one against four layers, and puts what survives in front of you. It runs continuously and needs nothing from you except review.

02Why it exists

Writing for eight channels by hand is a full-time job, and writing eight versions of the same post is worse than writing one. The engine does the fan-out and the checking so your attention goes to judgement rather than production.

The four checking layers exist because a single check misses a different failure each time. Length rules cannot tell whether something sounds like you. A voice judge cannot tell whether it makes a claim you are not allowed to make.

03How to use it

  1. 01Open the Content screen. Work is grouped by what it needs from you rather than by channel.
  2. 02Read the drafts waiting on you first. Everything else is either in progress or finished.
  3. 03Reject with a reason when something misses. The revision loop rewrites against the reason.
  4. 04Check the rejected pile occasionally. A pattern there tells you something about your context or brand rules.

04What good looks like

You give it
One idea about failed CRM migrations, with a venture context that names the buyer and the problem.
You get
A LinkedIn post, an X thread, a newsletter item and a carousel outline, each inside its own channel contract, all four passing the gates.
Why
The fan-out map produces one artifact per channel and each channel has its own contract, so the same idea lands at the right length and shape for each surface.

05What weak looks like, and what it costs

You give it
A venture with no voice profile and no brand rules.
You get
Drafts appear and read like every other tool. Nothing fails the gate, because there is nothing specific to fail against.
Why
Three of the four layers read your specifics. Without a voice profile and brand rules only the generic slop rules apply.
