Part 2 · Set up
The guided setup
About eight short screens, full screen, one thing on each, opening at the first one you have not done.
01What it is
A setup that walks you through one thing per screen: your first name and your goal, your business as we read it, your first channel, your own writing, your brand kit, where you post, your first piece and when it goes out, then the reveal of what your AI team already made. It fills the screen: the bar along the top says Setup · 2 of 9 done, in the same count as the rest of the app, with Do this later and Exit to Home. Each screen shows what it changed: a post from your GTM plan in your voice beside the plain one, a carousel slide and a reel frame in your colours and logo, your networks connected in place, your first piece on the calendar at a suggested time. Under the screens, your setup checklist marks which items these screens cover and which wait for Home.
02Why it exists
A paid founder lands with a plan and nine things to do, and a checklist alone does not say which to do now. One screen at a time does, and each reuses the part of the product that already does the job, so nothing you enter here is a copy that drifts.
Your first name replaces the part of your email address we had before, and your goal is what the plan counts against.
03How to use it
- 01Straight after you pay, you land on the guided setup. Any time before it is finished, Home has Finish setup · about 5 minutes.
- 02Screen one asks your first name, filled from Google when you signed in with it, and your goal, filled with a suggestion from your plan such as 3 discovery calls a month. Change either.
- 03Confirm your business, approve your first channel, paste a few things you wrote, confirm your brand kit, connect where you post and make your first piece. Do this later moves on without marking anything done; Exit to Home leaves.
- 04After you keep your voice, one post from your GTM plan is rewritten in it, beside the plain version. Opening the screen again shows a button for it instead, so nothing is spent without your press.
- 05The brand kit screen draws a carousel slide and a reel frame with your colours and logo. The connect screen shows the networks your GTM plan posts to; Connect signs in on the network and brings you back.
- 06Schedule it suggests the next open time in your posting times. Pressing Schedule is your approval; nothing goes out before that time, and Pick another time opens your drafts.
- 07The first time you approve a channel anywhere else, the reveal of your first work opens once, and Home says Your AI team has started on that channel and what is next.
04What good looks like
- You give it
- A founder who paid for a plan with LinkedIn presence first, signed in with Google as Radwan, and has done nothing else.
- You get
- They land on /setup at You and your goal with Radwan and 3 discovery calls a month filled in; after saving, the sidebar says Radwan and the workspace is named after the venture.
- Why
- guidedState() opens at the first screen not done, the name comes from the provider's given name, and saveGuidedYou() writes the display name and the plan's goal.

05What weak looks like, and what it costs
- You give it
- A founder on the free plan who opens /setup and presses Approve on a channel.
- You get
- The channel screen says channels run on the paid plans, with a link to them; nothing is approved.
- Why
- The channel screen calls the same approveLaneAction as Approvals, so the plan limits hold here too.
