Part 3 · Operate
Your link page
The one link an Instagram or TikTok bio can carry: your links, then your recent posts, each opening what it was about.
01What it is
A page at your own address, made under Posts, then Accounts. Your name, a line about you, your links in your order, and your recent posts with a picture. Nothing on it is public until you publish it.
02Why it exists
A caption on Instagram or TikTok cannot carry a working link, so every post that mentions one says "link in bio" and the bio holds one address. That address decides where all of those readers land.
So it lists your links first, then your recent posts, and each post opens the link that post was about, through the same tracked link the post carries. A reader who saw a post about your pricing finds it in one tap, and the click counts for the post that earned it rather than vanishing into a page visit.
03How to use it
- 01Open Posts, then Accounts, and scroll to Your link page.
- 02Pick the address, set the name at the top and a line about you, and add your links in the order you want them.
- 03Leave Show my recent posts on to list posts with a picture under the links.
- 04Switch it to Published, copy the address, and put it in your Instagram and TikTok bios.
04What good looks like
- You give it
- A published page with a Book a call link to the founder own site, and a live Instagram post about pricing that carried a link.
- You get
- The call link opens the site tagged as coming from the link page, its click is counted beside it in the editor, and the pricing post opens the same tracked link the post carries, counted for that post.
- Why
- Every click is counted where it can be acted on: a link page click on the page, a post click on the post.

05What weak looks like, and what it costs
- You give it
- A page saved but not published, opened at its address.
- You get
- Not found.
- Why
- Nothing is public until the founder switches it on, so a half-finished page is never what a reader finds.
