Formats
The structures drafts follow, ranked by what beat your own median post, with a share kept for trying new ones.
01What it is
A format is an ordered list of beats, such as a question hook, the problem, three steps, proof and a call to action. The writer, the designer and the composer follow the format that has worked best for this venture on that channel, and say which one they used.
02Why it exists
A draft that copies whatever shape the model reaches for teaches nothing, because nobody can tell afterwards what made one post land and another not. A named format can be counted: this structure, on this network, beat your median post four times out of six.
So formats are ranked by your own results first. A result is measured: a post's engagement where the network reports it, plus clicks on our tracked links, against the median of your other posts on the same network. A format with no results yet says Untested, whatever its name promises, and never shows a percentage.
Some drafts are kept for trying a promising format with few results yet, so the ranking keeps learning instead of settling on the first thing that worked. Those drafts say Testing a new format. A proof beat is only ever filled with proof you confirmed; with none, the beat is left out and the writer is told never to invent one.
03How to use it
- 01Formats wait behind the format_presets flag. Once it is on for your account, open Settings, Formats, and turn them on for the venture.
- 02Set how often a draft tries a new format on the same screen. Lower trusts the ranking more; higher learns faster.
- 03In the composer, press Choose a format to see the formats for that network, best for you first, each with its label and a made-up company’s example. Write with one and the post records it.
- 04On a channel of your AI team, Formats for this channel lists what it drafts with, best first, with how often each beat your median post.
- 05The weekly report adds one line per channel once a format has measured results that week: the best format and how often it won.
04What good looks like
- You give it
- One venture records six measured results for Observation, claim, question on LinkedIn, and every one beat its median post.
- You get
- For that venture the format ranks first on LinkedIn with the label Worked for you: 6 of 6 tests. A second venture still sees the same format as Untested, with no number.
- Why
- Ranking reads only the venture’s own stats; another venture’s results reach it only as an aggregate pattern past the boundary’s thresholds.

05What weak looks like, and what it costs
- You give it
- The writer follows Question hook, three steps for a venture with no confirmed proof point.
- You get
- The proof beat is left out of what the writer is told, which adds that there is no confirmed proof and never to invent a result, number, client or quote.
- Why
- A proof beat is filled only from confirmed memory items or the proof points the founder typed; with neither, it is dropped rather than filled.
