Publishing
What publishes through an API, what comes out copy-ready, and why the difference.
01What it is
Approved content either publishes through a platform API or arrives as copy-ready output for you to post. The channel decides which, and the reason is always the platform rather than the product.
02Why it exists
Some platforms have a compliant publishing API on a free tier and some do not. Pretending otherwise would mean either breaking a platform's terms or automating your logged-in session, and the product does neither.
Copy-ready is not a lesser outcome. The writing is finished, gated and in your voice; you paste it. What you lose is a scheduled time, not quality.
03How to use it
- 01Check the note on each channel to see which it is.
- 02Connect the accounts for the channels that publish.
- 03For copy-ready channels, copy from the card and post. Then mark it posted so measurement can attach.
04What good looks like
- You give it
- LinkedIn connected, a post approved and scheduled.
- You get
- It publishes to your profile at the scheduled time through the official API.
- Why
- LinkedIn has a compliant publishing API for a member’s own profile.

05What weak looks like, and what it costs

- You get
- Copy-ready output instead, with the reason stated on the channel.
- Why
- The X posting tier is paid, and the product does not pretend a free path exists.
