Best social media tool for B2B founders
We make InstinctGTM, and it is one of the four tools below. It publishes directly to fewer networks than any of the other three, which matters on this page more than anywhere else, and it is in the guide for a different reason. A B2B founder’s social media problem is usually two problems: getting posts out on several networks, and having something worth posting. Every price was read off the vendor’s own page on 3 October 2026.
The short answer
If you have the posts and need them on several networks, buy a scheduler: Buffer for the widest coverage on a free plan, Publer for the lowest price per account. If you write mostly for X and LinkedIn and want the writing to be good, Typefully. If the hard part is deciding what to post, pair a scheduler with a tool that drafts the week from your business.
- Publishing everywhere on a small budget: Buffer, twelve networks, free for three channels
- The lowest paid price per account: Publer, from $4 a month billed yearly
- Writing-first posting to X and LinkedIn: Typefully, a free plan, and AI writing on Creator
- Deciding what to post on every channel: InstinctGTM, drafts per channel from your business

Which social networks should a B2B founder post on?
The ones your best customers already read. Ask three of them where they spend time, and start with the network that comes up twice.
One network posted to well beats four posted to badly, and every tool below handles one network as easily as twelve. The scheduler is not the constraint.
Do you need a scheduler, a writer or both?
A scheduler gets a written post onto a network at the time you chose. A writer, human or not, decides what the post says. Founders often buy the first when the gap is the second, then post for three weeks and stop.
If you have a backlog of things to say, a scheduler is all you need. If you do not, the scheduler will be empty whichever one you buy.
Buffer
- Best for
- Price
- Free, then $5/channel
- Publishes to
Buffer publishes to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Google Business, Mastodon, X and Substack. It is free for up to three channels, then $5 per channel a month on Essentials billed yearly, with an AI Assistant on every plan, per its pages on 3 October 2026.
For breadth on a budget it is hard to beat.
What it does not do: Its assistant helps with the post you are writing; it does not decide what the week should be about. The free plan holds 10 scheduled posts per channel at a time.
Publer
- Best for
- Price
- From $4/mo, yearly
- Publishes to
Publer Professional starts at $4 a month billed yearly, priced by the number of social accounts, with unlimited workspaces; Business starts at $8 and adds the Publer API and MCP, per its pricing page on 3 October 2026. It publishes to LinkedIn profiles and pages, X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, Mastodon and others.
Unlimited workspaces on the cheaper paid plan make it a sensible choice for a founder running more than one brand.
What it does not do: The free plan covers three accounts and cannot connect X at all, so a founder who lives on X needs a paid plan from day one.
Typefully
- Best for
- Price
- Free plan, 10 posts/mo
- Publishes to
Typefully publishes to X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Threads, Mastodon and Substack. Its free plan includes 10 posts a month on one social set, with agent, API and MCP access, and AI writing sits on the paid Creator plan, per its pricing page on 3 October 2026.
It is built around the writing rather than the calendar, which suits founders whose posts are mostly text.
What it does not do: Its paid prices did not render as text when we read the page, so we have not printed them. Check them on its site before comparing.
InstinctGTM
Ours- Best for
- Price
- Free, then $149/mo
- Publishes to
InstinctGTM reads your site, what you sell and to whom, and samples of your writing, then drafts the week per channel, each post shaped for its network rather than one text reposted. It can draw on what changed at companies you watch, so a post can be about your market rather than about you. Every draft runs a quality gate and waits for your approval.
The free plan writes for every channel with a monthly limit. Founder is $149 a month.
What it does not do: It publishes directly only to LinkedIn today. For the other networks it hands you the post to publish yourself or through one of the schedulers above, so most founders pair it with one.
Which one should you choose?
You have posts and want them on many networks for little money.
Buffer, because twelve networks and a free plan cover most founders.
You run more than one brand and want the lowest paid price.
Publer, because unlimited workspaces from $4 a month billed yearly.
You write mostly text posts for X and LinkedIn.
Typefully, because it is built around the writing.
You never know what to post.
InstinctGTM, because it drafts the week from your business, and you can still schedule through any tool above.
What to do this week
- Ask three customers which network they read for work.
- Pick that one network and post there three times this week.
- Choose a scheduler only once you have more posts than time to publish them.
Questions people ask
Is Buffer or Publer cheaper?
Publer Professional starts at $4 a month billed yearly and Buffer Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed yearly, per their pricing pages read on 3 October 2026. Both have free plans; Publer’s cannot connect X, and Buffer’s covers three channels.
Can one tool post to LinkedIn and X?
Yes. Buffer, Publer and Typefully all list both, per their pages read on 3 October 2026, though Publer supports X only on a paid plan.
Does InstinctGTM post to X?
Not directly. InstinctGTM drafts X posts for you to publish yourself or through a scheduler, and publishes directly only to LinkedIn today.
Social media tools for founders have become cheap and good at publishing, which moves the hard part to what gets published. Pick a scheduler for the networks your customers read, and be honest about whether you have the posts to fill it. If you do not, that is the gap to close first.
