How do I turn one idea into posts for every channel?

Turning one idea into posts for several channels works when the argument stays and the shape changes, and fails when the same words are pasted everywhere: the long version is too long for X and the short version is too thin for LinkedIn. This skill pulls one specific claim out of you, checks it against what you have already published, drafts it natively for each channel you actually use, and holds everything behind your approval. It never invents a statistic to make a post land.

What it does

  • One claim, sharpened from whatever you gave it.
  • A native draft per channel you publish on, in your voice.
  • Nothing published. Approval is per post and it is yours.

What it will not do

  • It will not invent a number to make a post stronger. If you have no figure it writes the specific story instead.
  • It refuses claims your brief lists as forbidden.
  • It writes drafts. It never publishes.

Installing it

  1. 1

Unzip it into your skills folder

    .claude/skills/one-idea-every-channel/
  2. 2

Connect InstinctGTM, which is what it reads

claude mcp add --transport http instinctgtm https://instinctgtm.com/api/mcp

If you skip this, the skill will notice and walk you through it rather than inventing the output.

  3. 3

    Say the thing

“turn this idea into posts”“write this week’s content”“repurpose this across channels”

Questions this answers

How do you repurpose one idea across social channels?
Keep the claim and the evidence, change the shape. Each channel has a different length, a different opening convention and a different reason people are there, so the same words pasted across all of them underperform on every one. Write the claim once and let each channel have its own draft.
Why do cross-posted posts perform badly?
Because the format that fits one platform reads as wrong on another: a post built for LinkedIn is truncated on X, and a post built for X reads as insubstantial on LinkedIn. Platforms also increasingly rank on whether a post is worth reading on its own terms rather than on its shape.
Does it publish the posts?
No. It drafts, you approve each one, and publishing is a separate deliberate act. There is no setting that removes the approval step.
